Man:  Hi, I’ve been calling you a few times, but it seems that no one would answer the call.

Woman:  Hmm, what time were you calling?

Man: Last time I called you at around 7pm.

Woman: Oh, sorry, we work from 7am to 4pm, so by the time you called, we were all off work.

Man: Oh, that’s why. Anyway, I’d like to find out about trips that families can go on together.

Woman: Sure. There are many options. How about cycling trips? They are really popular. You and your family can ride bicycles to different places to explore beautiful scenery.

Man: That sounds good.

I’m looking at your tour site, these tours are kind of expensive, this one is $1200 and…Oh, this one is $1400. Do you have anything cheaper?

Woman: 1Yes. The cheapest tour is $1100.  That’s the one for a local trip, you know, visiting a couple of different towns nearby.

It’s a good choice if you have very young children.

Man: My daughter is 14, and my son is 11. They are quite good at cycling, so they can travel longer distances. How many cycling tours do you have?

Woman: 2Let’s see. We offer tours in different parts of the United States, and there are 30 in total.

Man: That’s a lot. Maybe we can choose a trip in the Rocky Mountains. My children always wanted to go there.

Woman: Well, a few short trips last for 2 or 3 days. And our longest one is about a month.

Man: What can we do on the trip? You know, besides cycling?

Man: Quite interesting. I guess my children would like that. How about the other trip?

Woman: There are actually two places to go.

You can choose either eastern part of the U.S. or California, which is in the west, but the arrangements are almost the same, I mean the length, the routes and everything.

Man: Oh, really? What are the differences between this trip and the one you mentioned earlier?

Woman: You will be staying for 10 nights, which is 5 nights longer than the one to the south.

And you stay at hotels at night.

Man: Is there anything else to see? Any attractions?
